Raquettes Gros‑Louis

For more than 60 years, one generation after the other, Raquettes et Artisanat Gros-Louis has offered arts and crafts that follow Native traditions and are made by the First Nations of Québec, particularly the Huron-Wendat nation. The house specialty still remains the snowshoe made from ash wood and « babiche » (a cow or moose hide) and available in various forms and sizes, as well as aluminum snowshoes. It also specializes in « mukluks » (traditional winter boots), moccasins, ceremonial pipes, dream catchers, jewelery, drums, incense and spiritual accessories.
